Our Company

SURVIVE-ALL INDUSTRIES, Inc. basic philosophy is to raise the level of awareness of U.S. citizens of the disasters that they might face and how to survive a natural disaster or other catastrophic event. At Survive-All™ we stress personal safety. Personal safety does not start at the White House, U.S. Congress, State House, or the local Fire Department; it starts in your house! You cannot be responsible for the safety of your country, the safety of your city or county, but you can be responsible for the safety of your neighborhood, more specifically, the safety of your own home -- your children, your parents, your grandparents. That is your responsibility as a citizen and cannot be delegated to anyone else.

Background

A disaster can be anything that puts your life or family members in peril. A disaster can instantly leave you and your family homeless, without food, water, and medicine to sustain life. Natural disasters occur all around the world without warning all too frequently. In the news today, we hear about both natural disasters and orchestrated disasters by devious persons and terrorist organizations. The day is now here when private citizens need to take a pro-active course of action to protect their families and loved ones.

Our Vest Product

Our product, SURVIVE-ALL VEST III™, is the first of its kind – a post urban survival vest for a family in a neighborhood in the city. It is more than a vest worn by hikers, campers, and outdoor adventurers. Surviving the wilderness has little to do with post urban survival. No vest on the market today even approaches the caliber of the SURVIVE-ALL VEST III™. The vest is so unique that it has a patent pending.

The vest’s originator is a person who has experience in recognizing and responding to disasters, first, as a paramedic, then as a police officer, prior to rising to management, and most recently, as an active consultant in business disaster planning; thus, the underpinnings of Survive-All Industries. All of these experiences have found their way into the design of the vest.

The name “SURVIVE-ALL VEST III™” was derived by the “three day food and water supply” recommended by emergency professionals and associations. The vest’s design was carefully planned and the meticulous thought to shape, contents, removable belts, and mobility are the primary features that have made this a patent pending product. The SURVIVE-ALL VEST III™ is an outer garment that has attachments that can be easily removed and transported. The removable first aid station is compartmentalized by injury for easy accessibility and retrieval. It contains six pre-packaged kits for Bleed Care, Burn Care, Eye Care, Fracture Care, Sprain Care, and Sliver & Abrasion Care. Directions are contained in each kit for treating that particular injury.

Also, each vest contains three day’s of food and water for emergency survival. Food and water supply has a five-year shelf life. Total calories are 3,600 (1,200) per day. Each contains three 400 calorie portions per day. They are yellow in color and taste similar to a lemon cream cookie. The food is loaded with vitamins and minerals, non-thirst provoking.

You can eat one in the morning, afternoon, and evening. Each daily packet also contains four ounces or more of water that you can clip and drink, no cup is needed.

Vests can be customized with additional accessories as desired for each family member at an economical price. Vests are custom ordered based on size, upgrades selected, personal ID card, medical alert options, and more. They are currently available in four adult sizes, children sizes and pet accessories coming soon. Check back with us often for vest updates and availability. Vests are manufactured in the U.S.

RECOGNIZE DISASTERS

Disasters can strike anytime, anywhere and without warning. There are acts of nature and of man that can turn into disasters.

Acts of nature are generally more predictable and we often get advance warning. We know where and when the hurricanes are probably going to strike, where and when the tornadoes are going land, and we have a good idea where earthquakes are likely to rumble, but never when.

Acts of man, whether intentional or accidental, can occur without warning and where we might never expect. Intentional acts by man can be terror motivated or committed with criminal intent.

REDUCE LOSSES

Your personal safety does not begin in the White House, the U.S. House, the State House, or in your local firehouse. Your personal safety begins in your house.

Once you know what disaster you and your family might have to deal with, you can implement changes and response plans to reduce losses both human and property.

As an example, for home fire safety, you can check the electrical wiring in your home, install a smoke detector, make sure everyone understands the evacuation plan, drill the plan, cut back the brush and a whole lot more to prevent or reduce loss.

Falling objects cause most injuries in an earthquake. If you live in an earthquake prone area, make sure wall decorations, bookcases, and other decorations are bolted securely to the structure. Do not place heavy objects on shelves.

Never put yourself or your family in a position of jeopardy.

RESPOND APPROPRIATELY

If you have recognized your potential disaster then you can draft appropriate responses. You evacuate your home during a fire and get to safety. During an earthquake, experts advise you stay inside and get under a table or under a doorway. Get yourself and your family to high ground if the flood is coming. Do not drive on flooded roads.

Sounds like common sense but every year, people perish because they did not have a plan and choose poor options.

You cannot depend on others in a time of disaster or post-disaster to help.

Even if others wanted to help they may be taking care of themselves during a disaster and the emergency medical responders may not get to you immediately. We hope you have planned so well the emergency medical responders triage you and move on to help others.

You must be prepared to take care of yourself your family and loved-ones.

This is a responsibility you cannot task to someone else.

Knowledge is power. You can have the power to save yourself and your family from possible serious injury or death if you know what to do. Your confidence level will increase and you will be less likely to panic if you have a plan to respond.

Someone has to remain calm and take the leadership role.

And, oh yes, have a disaster kit with tools, supplies, first-aid kit and a three-day supply of food and water for each family member and be able to evacuate if necessary. The SURVIVE-ALL VEST III™ is designed to answer this situation.

RECOVER QUICKLY

Your recovery and return to normal will be much faster than that of the person who did not recognize the potential disaster, reduce losses or respond appropriately.

In any event, you and your family may suffer from various levels of stress and depression post incident. We highly encourage you to contact professional help and participate in post-traumatic stress debriefings.

Many times the mental trauma lasts long after the physical injuries have healed.

We hope you never have to use the SURVIVE-ALL VEST III™. But, if you do, we are confident it will help you in your time of need so you have less to recover from.

BUSINESS DISASTER PLANNING

Business disaster planning is really not much different than disaster planning at home. There is a sequence of steps you must take in a prescribed order.

First, you must make a commitment to do it. Second, you do a disaster risk assessment and identify everything that could adversely affect your business. This includes loss life, loss of income, loss of proprietary information, loss of credibility or the loss of your business.

Next, you have to build in safety barriers to prevent or reduce any losses. You then develop contingency plans on how you and your employees will respond to an event.

You teach your employees and rehearse the plan to ensure they all understand and to see if the plan is physically possible.

Post disaster you put into play your recovery plans that you identified and developed in the early planning stage so you can get back to business as usual.

Unlike at home, there are a lot more people who would be affected such as your customers, business partners, employees and investors.

As a business owner, you may wish to comply with the 9/11 commission’s recommendation that every business have a disaster and business continuity plan.

As a small business owner myself, I recognize the challenge of having to learn, digest, prepare and present to my employees a whole new practice we must set into new policy.

It is even a more difficult decision to reassign an employee from their internal responsibility to take on a project that produces no income.

That is why I, like many other business owners, outsource some projects and tasks to trusted and proven contractors. I do not want to take away from my core business, neglect day-to-day operations, loose the productivity of one of my employees or take my eye off the company’s goals.

At SURVIVE-ALL INDUSTRIES, Inc. we provide a comprehensive business disaster and continuity plan in compliance with the American National Standards Institute and the National Fire Protection Association.

Please contact us if you are interested in developing, preparing and implementing a disaster and business continuity plan for your business. We would be pleased to provide you with a presentation and a proposal if requested.
